When I started this blog, I promised my friend Alyssa that it would feature plenty of lipstick reviews. This is more of a preview than a proper review, but still, I think it’s worth sharing. I love Anna Sui’s clothing, and her makeup line (manufactured by Albion Cosmetics) often catches my fancy as well.

But just yesterday I noticed this page in the Barneys catalogue and I needed to know more about the “20 new shades” in Lipstick Queen’s Saints and Sinners lipstick collection. How did I almost miss this piece of news from one of my favorite cosmetics lines?

I’m a longtime admirer of Anna Sui’s work—I own quite a few of her dresses and I never tire of wearing them. One of my favorites is a simple black-lace dress with short sleeves and an A-line, knee-length skirt; it has gone everywhere with me.
