PSA (Public Shopping Announcement): Barneys New York is holding its twice-yearly “Love Your Self” event later this month. This fall beauty event will take place on September 20-22, 2012 at all Barneys locations.

If you spend $200 on cosmetics and/or fragrance on these days, you’ll receive a cosmetics bag filled with deluxe samples of beauty products.

The fine print: “On product sales only. Limited quantities available. One per customer, while supplies last. Cannot be combined with any other offer.”

It’s an in-store event, but you can also do phone orders and have your items and beauty bag shipped to you. (Online orders aren’t eligible.)

If you’ve had a niche perfume or a high-end facial serum on your wish-list for a while, this is a good time to make your move; you’ll get a nice sampling of new things to try and to share with your beauty-obsessed friends.
