I just received a Bergdorf Goodman catalogue with details about the store’s upcoming winter beauty event. From Monday, January 14 through Sunday, January 27, shoppers who make a purchase of $200 or more on the Beauty Level will receive “a couture cosmetics bag filled with deluxe-sized must-haves of the season.”

The brands included in this gift bag include A Dozen Roses, AmorePacific, Antica Farmacista, Chantecaille, Ivo Pitanguy, Sensai by Kanebo, Kaplan MD, Kate Somerville, Kiehl’s, Laura Mercier, Natura Bisse, Orlane, Restoresea, ReVive, Sulwhasoo, Tata Harper, and Tom Ford.

Most of the samples, judging by the photograph, seem to be skincare. I’m also noticing a Chantecaille mascara, foundation primer from Laura Mercier, a body lotion from Antica Farmacista (Pompelmo scent), and fragrance samples from Tom Ford and A Dozen Roses. (Just how big is A Dozen Roses’s budget for samples, anyway? They give away so many freebies. I just wish the fragrances were…better.)

I’m pretty happy with my current skincare regimen, and I don’t really need anything right now, so I’ll probably be taking a pass this time around.
