Baby, it’s cold outside! I hope you’re keeping snug, wherever you are.

Reading: “Mad World: An Oral History of New Wave Artists and Songs That Defined the 1980s.” My era, my music.

Video: Mr. TC and I just started watching “Better Call Saul.”

Audio: The new Bjork album, “Vulnicura” …

Bjork: Vulnicura.
Bjork: Vulnicura.

Drink: Some fancy first-flush Darjeeling from Palais des Thés

Eats & Treats: Valentine candy from La Maison du Chocolat

Garb: My vintage leopard-spot coat is seeing plenty of action these days.

Beauty Products: I just rediscovered my tube of Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Rose.

Pleasures: Plenty of new rose fragrances to review, plenty of cat-snuggling time on the couch, weekly Tuesday breakfasts with friends

Worry: Slipping on the ice. Be careful out there!

Stray thought: No, “selfie sticks” should definitely NOT be permitted in museums.

  1. Reading: “Sex at Dawn” after having it on my to-read list for the past couple of years…so far, so good! Very good.

Video: I’ve been really into “Last Week Tonight” and various VICE mini-documentaries.

Audio: The new Drake mixtape, and the new Kendrick Lamar song are both on constant repeat for me.

Drink: Orange blossom tea from Palais des Thes.

Eats & Treats: San Loco’s homemade cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips!

Garb: So many drapey H&M sweaters.

Beauty Products: Well, the Viseart Paris Nudes palette just arrived for me today…a belated Valentine’s gift from a dear friend. I’m so excited!

Pleasures: I had a lovely Valentine’s weekend, a relaxing day off, and I have a great weekend planned! Is it Friday yet!?

Worry: I’d rather not think about my worries right now.

Stray thought: Why did I eat that whole cookie just now?
