Drink: I just read this recipe for a summer cocktail called “Careless Whisper” and I can’t resist.

Eats & Treats: Cherries from the garden

Garb: Black Dansko sandals, black summer dresses, and a long, lightweight Basquiat-print scarf (I’m having a Basquiat summer)

Beauty Products: My friend T. brought back some 4711 cologne and “real” Nivea from Germany for me!

Purchase: We just bought a new portable air conditioner. Not exciting, but necessary.

Pleasure: Planning some birthday diversions

Worry: June/July deadlines

Stray Thought: I’ll miss Lucky magazine, even though it went downhill when Kim France and Andrea Linnett left. Memories!

  1. Video: I’m finally going to see “Jurassic World” tomorrow evening after work.

Reading: So many books, but especially taken with Dana Thomas’ “Gods and Kings” about Galliano and McQueen.

Art: Still trying to forget about how bad the Bjork exhibit was.

Drink: Give me all of the bourbon and ice water you have!

Eats & Treats: Tacos, tacos, tacos everywhere!

Garb: Leggings, tight tanks, and thin drapey cardigans. To hell with summer.

Beauty Products: I’m having a serious matte eyeshadow and weird/dark lipstick phase right now. Viseart and ColourPop are giving my face life.

    Purchase: Too many bills.

Pleasure: I’m just back from my birthday vacation – nine glorious days of laziness and food!

    Worry: Money, always money.

Stray Thought: I really need a manicure.
