Passing Fancies ~ October 2016

Reading: I read a profile of author Tana French in The New Yorker and now I’m deep into her first book, In The Woods

Video: My brother talked me into giving Designated Survivor a try. Totally hackneyed stuff, but it’s nice to see Kiefer Sutherland again.

Audio: Bob Dylan, in honor of his Nobel Prize

Art: “Securing the Shadow” at the American Folk Art Museum

Drink: Orange juice, because I have a cold.

Eats & Treats: Over the past week I ate doughnuts from my two favorite places, Doughnut Plant in Brooklyn and Purple Glaze in Asbury Park. So worth it.

Garb: Yet another black dress from COS, because I’m predictable. But I did get rid of quite a few things on ThredUP…

Beauty Products: Mentholatum, because of above-mentioned cold. No, seriously, I’m very impressed by the NudeStix Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm pencil (in Pulse) that I recently received as a GWP.

Pleasure: Autumn! and a recent trip “down the Shore.”

Worry: The Presidential election (DUH)

Stray Thought: Thinking of you, SS!

  1. Tana French is the best! I’ve loved all of her books, am almost finished with her most recent one and it does not disappoint! Was so happy to see the New Yorker piece!
