Reading: Reaching the end of A Little Life. (Thanks to T. for lending me her copy!)
Video: Catching up on some movies we missed last year, like “Spotlight” and “The Big Short”
Audio: This week, Kirsty MacColl’s “Kite” over and over
Art: Plotting a visit to see the Isaac Mizrahi show at the Jewish Museum
Drink: Champagne to celebrate the completion of a work project
Eats & Treats: Lots of popcorn
Garb: I spilled patchouli oil on my April Cornell “Bohemian” dress during my most recent class at the Brainery. Well, that’s fitting, I suppose.
Beauty Products: Bésame Brightening Violet Powder
Pleasure: Lunchtime walks in the park to admire the spring flowers
Worry: The usual…another over-scheduled week or two.
Stray Thought: It’s time for everyone to stop saying “BOOM” as an emphatic close to statements that were already pretty boring and obvious.
I haven’t had the displeasure to encounter anyone who says “boom” and I truly hope I don’t. There are plenty of other words I’d like to eliminate from the language though. Totes and adorbs are in my top 10 hated. Does that mean I’m old?
