Reading: My friend C. loaned me a copy of Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. It’s perfect escapism for gloomy November evenings.
Video: “The Crown” on Netflix
Audio: Covers of Leonard Cohen songs by some of my favorite artists
Art: Marilyn Minter
Drink: Coffee made with a fresh purchase of Modcup beans
Eats & Treats: Bread from the local Italian bakery. Fancy artisanal chocolate and nuts from my latest Boxwalla food-box.
Garb: Rotating my closet and finding cozy sweaters and little fur scarves I’d forgotten about.
Beauty Products: I finished my Odacité Acai Rose Youthful Glow Facial Serum Concentrate (also from Boxwalla) and now I want more!
Pleasure: Perfume classes to teach. Museum tours to lead. Neighborhood events to attend. New local restaurants to visit.
Worry: Do I really need to say it?
Stray Thought: As seen in a subway station this week…

So everyone is talking about The Crown now and of course this happens after I cancel Netflix.
Oh no! We’ve been grumbling a bit about Netflix lately — its offering seem a bit limited — but I have to admit that this series is high-quality and lots of fun.
