Reading: Another Tana French novel — The Secret Place
Video: The final season of “Sherlock”
Audio: This week, lots of Bauhaus (see “Pleasure,” below)
Drink: Some bottles of lambic that a friend brought over as a New Year’s Day gift
Eats & Treats: I’m hooked on Ozuké Umeboshi (fermented plums), a recent offering from Boxwalla
Garb: A black sweater dress from COS, or big drape-y sweaters over regular black dresses, with black ankle/mid-calf boots
Beauty Products: High end: Chanel No. 5 L’Eau, a much-appreciated Christmas present. Cheap thrill: NYC City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color in Riverside Rose
Pleasure: A new portable record-player (another Christmas present), plus access to my entire old vinyl collection, means lots of enjoyment and nostalgia ahead.
Worry: Not enough days in the week to take on all the projects I have in mind
Stray Thought: I’m not going to be attending the Women’s March on Washington this weekend, but I’ll dedicate time to some other (more local) woman-based initiatives.
