Winter is in the air, literally—and the lower temperatures and humidity will take a toll on my skin if I don’t fight them with extra hydration. The latest addition to my skincare arsenal is Fleur Vibrante Face Balm Concentrate from In Fiore, a small brand specializing in natural fragrance and skin products.
Fleur Vibrante is billed as “a wonderful curative to remedy scarring, redness, itchiness, and to strengthen tissue elasticity,” designed to soothe skin distressed by acne, sun damage, laser treatments and “other aggressions.” It’s recommended especially for dry and “mature” complexions, and even if you aren’t coping with any of the problems above, it’s a luxurious and effective solution for dryness or minor skin irritation.
I’ve been applying Fleur Vibrante (don’t you love the name?) at bedtime. It’s a solid, golden-colored balm, and just a fingertip swipe over the balm’s surface lifts enough product for a sparing application. I dab Fleur Vibrante onto any small patches of dry or chapped skin, and occasionally I pat on a very thin overall layer after my facial serum. (My favorite serums these days are Aroma M Camellia Facial Oil and Aesop Fabulous Face Oil.) This balm “seals” in the serum and provides extra moisture.
Last but not least, Fleur Vibrante’s fragrance comes from natural jasmine absolute; it’s lush but not too strong, and it provides an elegant finish to my evening routine.
The ingredients for Fleur Vibrante are cold-pressed grapeseed oil infused with calendula 0fficinalis flower*, rosehip seed oil, jojoba seed oil*, beeswax, vitamin E, calendula flower extract*, sea buckthorn berry extract*, jasmine absolute, and rosemary leaf extract*. (* denotes a certified organic ingredient)
In Fiore Fleur Vibrante is sold for $65 (60 ml jar) or $13 (7.5 ml travel size) through In Fiore, Twisted Lily, and Beautyhabit.
Souce: this product was given to me for review consideration by Twisted Lily.
This product sounds amazing! I suffer with scarring due to picking spots in my younger days and this product sounds like it would be benefical to me.
Great blog and gorgeous blog :-)
Thanks, Amy! I’ve been using this balm on a similar small scar, and I do think it has been helping. It’s really useful, all around.
