Drink: I had an excellent Sidecar at the Crosby Street Hotel’s bar last weekend.
Eats & Treats: I’m hooked on some SunRype weird fruit-roll-up rectangles that remind me of the protein bars everyone eats in Snowpiercer.
Garb: I’m sad because I just lost my leopard-spot earmuffs. However, I did score a like-new black Betsey Johnson purse for next-to-nothing on eBay.
Beauty Products: A nearby location of Ricky’s NYC was closing down, and I picked up two Sheswai nail polishes for $1.00 (yes, 50¢ each!). The shade called What (a taupe-y eggplant) is my new favorite.
Pleasure: Finding new places to write productively in peace
Worry: After twenty years of drinking coffee at the computer, I ran out of luck last month and spilled a full cup all over my keyboard. It really wasn’t a good time to incur the extra expense of repairs, etc.
Stray thought: Congratulations to my brother-in-law and new sister-in-law on their marriage!

Reading: Sontag’s “Against Interpretation” among other things. I have a twenty-book tall stack of things I recently purchased to read! I love reading. It is my sanity.
Video: Do YouTube reviewers count? I love watching Tarababyz’s videos – she does great reviews, is super sweet, and actually PAYS FOR HER OWN STUFF!
Audio: I am still loving Taylor McFerrin’s stuff. Yes, he’s the son of the “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” guy and is talented as hell.
Drink: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale because I can get cheap 22s of it at the bodega and it’s actually better than most cheap beers one can find.
Eats & Treats: Taco happy hour at Chavela’s in Crown Heights. $2 tacos that are really damn good? Yes.
Garb: I stole my guy’s slim sweater jacket thing a few weeks back and it’s my new favorite item. It’s kind of BDSM-y (in his words) – asymmetrical cut, zippers, and a very tight fit. Pairs well with my collection of boots and skinny jeans.
Beauty Products: The new Armani Eye Fluids. Buy one. Right now.
Pleasure: Sleep, a cup of tea, and a good book. And walking. Lots of walking.
Worry: Too many to list here. It’s not a good time for me.
