Reading:
Richard Price, Lush Life. It’s been on my to-read list for a few years. Many thanks to R. for scoring a free used copy for me!

Drink: Mr. TC recently brought home a six-pack of Shiner Prickly Pear Summer Seasonal, which I enjoyed trying.

Eats & Treats: Corn on the cob. Peaches. Blackberries. Cucumbers. Ripe tomatoes. All from the farmers market and our own garden patch!

Garb: A punk-styled print dress from Doc Marten. Who knew they made clothing?

Beauty Products: LUSH’s new fresh face mask, Rosy Cheeks

Purchase: I need to get a gift for an upcoming family wedding. Not feeling very inspired.

Pleasure: I’m working on a new perfume-themed presentation for fall. Details to come!

Worry: How are we going to survive another year-plus of all this election nonsense?

Stray Thought: I’m already looking forward to a short getaway in the fall.

  1. Video: I keep falling down the YouTube makeup tutorial wormhole.

Reading: Since I’m just about done with “The Emperor of All Maladies,” next on my list is Eric Kandel’s “The Age of Insight.”

Drink: Water. Water. Water. It’s so hot. Pass the water.

Eats & Treats: Baby carrots, frittatas, and overnight oats.

Garb: I’m dressing in boots, leggings, and thin sweaters like it’s cooler than it actually is.

Beauty Products: Paula’s Choice BHA 9 and all the sheet masks I can get my hands on.

Purchase: I am so in love with my new 11″ HP Stream notebook, and I can’t wait for my new headphones to come in!

Pleasure: Pitti soon. And cooler weather soon!

Worry: Bills. And how will I cope with my boyfriend going on tour for a month? =(

Stray Thought: I want a burger.
