I’m really more a lipstick-lover than a gloss-lover, but this lip gloss caught my attention.
It’s called Stain and it’s part of Colourpop’s second “KaePop” collection, a collaboration with model-actress Karrueche Tran. Unlike some other Colourpop “collabs,” this one includes shades and textures that work for everyday life, not just for Instagram preening.

Lipstick Queen has just launched a collection of seven lip glosses named for the Seven Deadly Sins (Lust, Anger, Avarice, et al.). I’m old enough to remember Poppy King’s original Seven Deadly Sins, a series of matte lipsticks in shades that were very daring indeed for the mid-1990s. I stopped by LUSH’s Upper West Side boutique on Saturday to pick up a new bottle of Eau Roma rose-lavender facial spray (essential in dry winter weather!) and I was distracted by the new Valentine’s Day products, including The Kiss Lip Gloss. Can you blame me?
